The Generator size will depend on the total load or "wattage" you demand from the generator. This of course will depend on what electrical devices you will need to run while supplying your house with generator power.

How do I determine what combination of devices I can run at one time without exceeding the capacity of my generator ?
Refer to the chart of common household devices . You can add up power of each device , the total should not exceed the capacity of your generator . It may be necessary to temporarily turn "OFF" one or more devices in order to run another.

Where can the generator be installed?
The generator can be installed anywhere in or outside the home. Trading Engineers would arrange for an Electrician to do the installation.

How do I Connect Generator to my house?
A manual or Automatic Switch can be wired into the distribution system to allow the use of existing household wiring and receptacles.

How long will a generator run on a tank of fuel?
This depends on the size of the tank and amount of load on the generator. Higher loads require more fuel. A 5000 watts portable genset will run 10 hrs approx at rated load.
